The PTX ID number of each transponder can be changed to an alternative ID number. Each individually numbered transponder has its 'custom' ID number written on the supplied instruction sheet with the an alternative number also available.

To change the mPTX number place it on a coin or other metal object, the LED should flash quickly. Next turn it off and then turn it on again. It will start flashing, after 5 seconds it will flash quickly. Remove it from the coin/metal quickly. After 3 seconds it will start flashing slowly again. Place the mPTX back on the coin/metal and the mPTX will be in it's SET-UP mode. It will flash once for the Main number and twice for the ALT number. Remove the mPTX from the coin/metal when it is set on the required number. When the mPTX is next powered up it flashes once if set on the Main number and twice if set on the ALT number. If the mPTX is left in SET-UP mode for 20 seconds it will start to flash continuously, this means it has changed the ALT number to the next one.
