Part of the WB8 Wild Boar DriveShaft's "tough-as-tusk" durability is its ability to withstand the material deformation caused by high torque and/or heavy loads over the standard SCX10/AX10 driveShafts. The WB8 Shaft is comprised of an 8 spline design that reduces friction during suspension cycling and has an increased surface area that transmits load smoother and more efficiently than the previous 4 spline designs. The CVJ's take the most abuse in a driveline system and while the WB8 DriveShaft Coupler is an all metal design, the WB8 driveShaft itself is molded in tough composite plastic that offers less friction and smoother operation with optimal wear characteristics."
