Hi-Tech innovation. Real Shocks Bypass1 Piston Technology! Unlike any piston seen before in the RC Industry. This Piston is design inspired by Real Off-Road Vehicles. The description of what these pistons are designed to accomplish will change your definition of how you thought a shock really should work. A noticeable problem was MIPs motivation for giving birth to Real Shocks Bypass1 technology, and what better shock design is there besides real off-road trophy truck shocks? MIPs top engineers studied and decoded the Off-Road Vehicle shocks, and came up with their very own version of shock bypass technology!

How do they work?
Traditional RC shock pistons are designed with orifice holes to meter compression and rebound dampening 50/50. Orifice holes are susceptible to packing (hydraulic lock) at higher Shaft speeds witch limit traction and handling. Some companies have tried to make pistons which change the compressive and rebound dampening but have always overlooked the issue of packing. Bypass1 meters the oil around the piston to control the rebound dampening. As the piston moves into a Compressive stroke; the oil moves through the bypass orifices and into the valves fleXIng the valves; which results in bypass. This is in addition to the oil flowing around the piston.
