One of the main problems with the stock suspension arms on the HPI Savage and Savage x trucks is the excess clearance built into them, which makes critical settings such as camber, caster and toe-in angles nearly impossible to lock down. These RPM Savage and Savage-X A-Arms have been engineered to strict tolerances and as much as 0.051” (or in excess of 3/64”) of slop in the suspension system has been eliminated. These tighter-tolerance A-Arms allow critical suspension settings to remain long after they’ve been set and stay smooth throughout the entire range of suspension travel.
These A-Arms are sold in sets, including one lower and two upper A-arms. Two upper A-Arms are supplied to give you the option of a stock, 0 degree camber angle in a fixed length A-Arm, or a negative 2 degree camber angle A-Arm. Using fixed length upper A-Arms instead of adjustable camber A-Arms, the weight has been kept to a minimum while still providing the Maximum amount of durability.They weigh in less than stock Savage A-Arms due to low profile designs. The low profile combined with the beveled leading and trailing edges of the A-Arms prevents them from hanging as low as the stock versions and allows the A-Arms to ride up and over obstacles versus slamming into them.
The RPM Savage and Savage-X A-Arms are offered in three color choices, black. blue and purple. They are built from bulletproof nylons for unmatched durability and performance and backed by the RPM breakage warranty.
RPM A-Arms for the HPI Savage and Savage-X are sold in sets, consisting of 1 lower A-Arm and 2 upper A-Arms. Completing a truck requires 2 Left Front/Right Rear packages available in black RPM82012, blue RPM82015 or purple RPM82018.
Also required are 2 Left Rear/Right Front packages available in black RPM82002, blue RPM82005 or purple RPM82008.
