This high-performance pinion gear manufactured from special lightweight aircraft duraluminum and is 1.5mm thinner and 25% lighter than regular pinions. The pinion is manufactured by Xray on a specially modified precision gear machine, which has ultra-precise tolerances and assures unparalleled concentricity. After machining, the pinions have all their edges chamfered and then are run-in. The pinions are then specially treated to give them an even hardcoating so they stay absolute true for a long time.

With all of this preparation, you can feel confident in mounting the pinion right from the package, and get excited from getting leading edge pinion design and production. The pinions run great with any spur, but with an Xray spur even throttle on/off noise disappears.
